Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a widely used, evidence-based form of talk therapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours.
CBT helps us understand how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected and teaches practical strategies to manage and reframe unhelpful thinking.
It is commonly used to treat anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health difficulties, helping people develop healthier coping mechanisms and improve their emotional well-being.
Sessions are typically structured, goal-oriented, and designed to provide lasting tools for managing everyday challenges.

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
IPT is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and communication patterns to alleviate symptoms of mental health issues, particularly depression.
IPT helps individuals explore how their interactions with others may contribute to emotional distress and works to resolve interpersonal conflicts, role transitions, grief, or social isolation.
By addressing these issues, you can develop healthier relationships, improve communication skills, and ultimately enhance their emotional well-being.
IPT is typically short-term and goal-oriented, aiming to create meaningful changes in relationships and emotional life.

Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT)
BCT is an evidence-based approach focused on improving communication, changing negative behaviours, and fostering positive interactions between partners.
It encourages mutual responsibility, teaches conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, and promotes the reinforcement of positive behaviours to strengthen emotional connections.
BCT is particularly effective for addressing issues like anxiety, depression, infidelity, and chronic conflict, interpersonal difficulties helping couples build healthier, more satisfying relationships.

Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is a psychotherapy method primarily used to help you process and heal from traumatic experiences.
EMDR works by having clients focus on distressing memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or tapping.
This process helps reframe how traumatic memories are stored in the brain, reducing their emotional intensity and impact.
EMDR is particularly effective for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but it is also used for anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties.
The therapy is typically structured and focuses on both past experiences and current triggers.

Person-Centred Counselling
Person-Centred Counselling is a supportive and non-directive approach that empowers you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Sessions typically last around 50 minutes, with the number of sessions varying based on your individual needs.
Your counsellor will provide a safe, accepting, and empathetic space where you feel heard and understood. Rather than directing the conversation, they will support you in finding your own solutions, fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
The focus is on your experiences and inner strengths, helping you gain clarity and confidence in navigating life's challenges.

Integrative Therapy
Integrative Therapy is a flexible and personalised approach to mental health treatment that combines techniques from different therapeutic models.
Instead of using a one-size-fits-all method, integrative therapy is tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from approaches like Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy.
This holistic approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—ensuring comprehensive care. By blending various methods, integrative therapy offers a balanced and adaptable way to address a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, promoting overall well-being and personal growth.
